Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a fundamental role in supporting children's growth and development during the golden age period. The quality of ECE services is closely associated with the implementation of national education standards that regulate educational processes, learning management, assessment systems, educators, facilities, management, and financing. This study aims to examine the implementation of Early Childhood Education standards based on Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 137 of 2014 and to analyze the role of learning management in improving the quality of ECE services. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through library research by reviewing books, government regulations, scientific articles, and relevant literature related to early childhood education management. The findings indicate that the successful implementation of ECE standards depends on effective learning management, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of learning activities. In addition, the fulfillment of standards related to child development achievement, educational content, assessment, educators and educational personnel, facilities and infrastructure, institutional management, and financing contributes significantly to the quality of educational services provided for young children. Therefore, comprehensive implementation of ECE standards is essential for supporting children's holistic development and ensuring the achievement of national educational goals.
